This course is an Authorized Training program for Security Guard Training in Accordance with Ontario Guidelines (by the PSISA).
The course outline is shown below. Once this course has been completed in its entirety, Vista will forward each student’s information to the PSISB so the student is authorized to write the Security Licence test.
The training program will cover all areas that are required and includes sample testing.

S2 – The private Security and Investigative Services Act & Ministry Code of Conduct
S3 – Basic Security Procedures
S4 – Report Writing
S5 – Health and Safety
S6 – Emergency Response Preparation
S7 – Canadian Legal System
S8 – Legal Authorities
S8 – Effective Communications
S10 – Sensitivity Training
S11 – Use of Force Theory
S12 – Emergency Level First Aid Certification
The cost for the 40 hour training program is $225.00 per student.
